If you want to see a list of technologies that are trending, then this Stack Overflow Survey 2016 might be a good read. However, these two words in your question caught my eyes - “easily learned”. IMHO, you can write a “Hello World” program within 5 mins in pretty much all the languages by following their tutorials. What matters is what have you picked and what you wish to continue with?
Another thing you must keep in your mind is that the technology landscape is changing dramatically and there is no pattern for the change. We need to adapt fast to survive.

Node.js, JavaScript, Mongo DB are easy to learn. If you implement these with any of the above said topic, then you’ll be relevant in market. You could also check Python.Choose any stack and stick to it.
